Day 37: Sawtooths

September 2, 2009

From a distance, these highly-evolved predators appear to be tall, thin humans. In fact, they can maintain this illusion until they are very close, when they reveal their gleaming, sharklike teeth.

Sawtooths primarily inhabit the Wastes far south and west of Husk, where their small, grassy plain gives way to hard-packed desert.

Wherever they are encountered, Sawtooths are extremely dangerous.

They are vicious skirmishers and skilled archers. Treating with these cannibals is usually impossible; they see other races as meat, and will give chase long beyond the point of exhaustion.
